This much snow is super rare in Mississippi. Normally, we may get a light snow that is pretty much all melted by 11am. So very rare & thanks to Foxy for allowing me to experience a dreamy bareback ride in the snow.
What a beautiful photo!!!! We got it here in NC and it's pretty rare for us as well and I of course had to get out and play in it with both the horses yesterday. They loved it. Today it is all ice and none of us are as happy :(
Thanks! It was certainly a great opportunity for some pretty pics...we've got ice now too fiesta & that has taken much of the fun out of having snow. I've been thinking a lot about the work horsemen & women must do up north....ick! Think I'm ready for spring!
This blog is an attempt to provide updates on the progress & goings on at our burgeoning little horse farm. Everything here is a work in progress from our facilities to the horses & of course my own horsemanship. After finding my way back to horses as an adult I spent several years learning about & enjoying dressage. Since that time, I've found my way to natural horsemanship & love not only the answers it provides but the focus on relationship. For that dream of riding off into the sunset with the perfect calm "best friend" is truely my ultimate goal.
